Cyprus : Ryanair, 500,000 new arrivals to Cyprus in 5 years

 

According to ANSAmed (24/08/10), "Low-cost airline Ryanair's two new routes to Cyprus from November will deliver 60,000 passengers a year to as part of an agreement that will increase tourist numbers by 500,000 over the next five years, the airline said yesterday as reported by Cyprus Mail.

Ryanair spokeswoman Laura McCormack said that the airline will start flights between Brussels and Cyprus on November 3."

Cyprus : Cypriots are highly educated, survey shows

 

According to Financial Mirror (04/08/10), "Cypriots are among the most highly educated in the EU, according to the annual “Labour Force Survey” for 2009 by the Statistical Service.
The report provides data on the employed and unemployed population which are analysed by gender, age, education, branch of economic activity and occupational group.
