Trade Relations between Cyprus and Egypt

TRADE RELATIONS BETWEEN CYPRUS AND EGYPT
DURING THE PERIOD 2000-2008

During the period 2000-2008, the total imports from Egypt increased significantly from 18,307,658 Euro to 57,837,422 Euro. For the same period, the total exports to Egypt increased notably, from 15,166,852 Euro to 17,553,070 Euro in 2008 which is considered the highest amount of exports to Egypt during the previous mentioned period. (See figure 1).

The corresponding average annual growth rate for the total imports from Egypt for the period 2000-2008 was 30.1% per annum, whereas the average annual growth rate for the total exports to Egypt was 16.42% per annum.
